I was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee: The home of the blues, the birthplace of Rock and Roll. It’s a creative city. Elvis Presley, Sam Phillips, B.B. King, William Eggleston, just a few of the people who’ve been inspired by this interesting city on the Mississippi River. And while my name may never be mentioned in the same breath with those influential Memphians, you can say that we've all been stimulated by the energy Memphis exudes.
I got my first camera at age 9 and I’ve been shooting photos ever since. But when attending the University of Tennessee, I started to hone my skills working as a staff photographer for the school newspaper. After graduation, I continued to develop my eye, working in traditional and digital photography processes with my own work.
